A come back that enthusiasts look forward to. Previously held in Pau in 2016 , Formula Junior takes part this year in Pau Historic Grand Prix and will offer enthusiasts the opportunity to admire the wide range of cars. Adopted in 1958, this open wheel formula racing had its time of glory until 1963 and it was replaced the next year by new F3 and F2 motorsport’s categories.
In this short time, all the rookies were revealed driving these single seaters equiped with a 1000cc or 1100cc engine, produced by Cooper, Lotus, Lola or Brabham. In its six years of existence, Formula Junior represented the fast technical movement of this era, in particular with the transition of the front engine to the rear engine in all the single seaters. As it was 3 years ago, drivers will come from all Europe (and perhaps from further afield at times !) to race on this twin Formula Junior track.
